As an award-winning PR professional and former journalist, Andrea’s work is fuelled by curiosity, connection and an open mind. Her experience as an investigative and multi-platform reporter and producer has made her a sought-after media trainer for C-suite and executive teams at some of Canada’s best-known and most influential companies. She has worked with senior executives in professional, financial and legal services; as well as in the retail grocery and pharmacy, tech, energy, mining and pharmaceutical industries. She has been a speechwriter and ghostwriter for CEOs, presidents, politicians and influencers, and her writing has appeared in the Toronto Star, National Post, Canadian Press and Strategy. She also specializes in editorial, media relations and content strategy.

Since 2022, Andrea has been a mentor with the Health Innoation Hub (H2i) at the University of Toronto, providing pro bono communications counsel to early-stage health-tech entrepreneurs. She has been a guest lecturer at the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University and recently connected with Lab2Market, a nationwide program that helps graduate and post-doctoral students explore entrepreneurship.

Previously, Andrea spent 15 years as a multi-platform reporter and producer in Canada and the U.S., including for the CBC and NPR News. She was part of an award-winning production team for CBC News’ The Fifth Estate, spent two years at the CBC bureau in Washington, D.C., and led editorial and content strategy for the 2014, 2016 and 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Born and raised in Ottawa, Andrea speaks English and French fluently. She holds degrees in literature and journalism from McGill University and Columbia University, respectively.
